Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing or using Lanecast ("the app") or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
2. What Lanecast is
Lanecast plays content from sources that you add yourself, such as an M3U playlist or an Xtream Codes account from a provider of your choice. Lanecast has no connection to any such provider, and we do not supply, check or control the content they offer.
3. Your responsibility for content
- You are solely responsible for the sources you add and for the content you watch with the app.
- You may only use content you are legally entitled to access in your country.
- You must not use Lanecast to infringe copyright or to access content that is unlawful.
4. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on your own devices. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, remove notices from it, or use it in a way that breaks the law. The app includes open-source components that are licensed under their own terms.
5. Free and paid features
Lanecast may offer free and paid features. If paid features are offered, the price, what is included and any refund rights are shown at the time of purchase, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or work with every source or device, and we are not responsible for the availability or quality of any content or provider. Video playback depends on your provider and your internet connection.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or profits, or for anything arising from the content you choose to play. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
8. Ending use
You can stop using Lanecast at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access to paid features if you break these terms.
9. Changes
We may update the app, the website and these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country where you live.
